What certification does a Sienna need in Russia?
Wheeled vehicles placed on the EAEU market must comply with technical regulation TR CU 018/2011 "On the safety of wheeled vehicles". Depending on how the vehicle is imported, conformity is shown through a vehicle type approval or a certificate of vehicle design safety, and an electronic vehicle passport (EPTS) is issued. A recycling (utilisation) fee is also payable on import. Rules and fee levels change — confirm them with a Russian customs broker.
